Delivery & Returns Policy

Please be aware that The Safe Centre offers clients free Kerbside delivery on all products in our safe ranges. It's important to understand what this means, so please read the information below before placing your order.

We recommend that you contact The Safe Centre at hello@thesafecentre.co.uk for delivery options as even the smallest of safes can be difficult to manoeuvre into the property or up/down flights of stairs.

What is Kerbside delivery?

Kerbside delivery, also known as kerbside drop off, consists of the couriers delivering your product within the appropriate timescale by dropping it off directly to your front door.

This means that delivery drivers will position their vehicle as close as possible to the address you have provided and drop the product into a position on the kerbside that is both safe and keeps the product secure.

It is important to understand that this does not include moving the safe any further - specifically, the safe will not be moved indoors and you will then be responsible for moving the product inside the property.

We recommend that you contact The Safe Centre for delivery options as even the smallest of safes can be difficult to manoeuvre into the property or up/down flights of stairs.

If you are unable to transfer your product into your property safely, The Safe Centre can discuss additional options with you prior to delivery so that you can rest assured.

Depending on which safe you have purchased, we may be able to provide options such as Ground, First or Second Floor delivery and even installation for non-freestanding models that are required to be installed to a certain specification.

Preparation for delivery

If you purchase a high quality safe from The Safe Centre and take advantage of our standard free kerbside delivery, we recommend that you make the following preparations to ensure you can safely enter your property with the product:

Ensure someone is available for delivery

We recommend, when bringing your safe into the property, that you have at least two strong people ready to assist. With free Kerbside delivery our safe couriers will not bring your product into the property.

Use a lifting mechanism/trolley where required

We highly recommend, especially for any of our larger safes, that you have a suitable lifting mechanism and/or trolley available for safely lifting and moving your product into the property.

Ensure you have the proper tools/planning for installation

For non-freestanding safes that require installation you may require certain tools to complete the job properly and to ensure that it is up to standard for insurance purposes.

Returning a product

We like to think that you will be happy with the product that you order, however if your product is faulty or you wish to return it for another reason, please contact our experienced safe experts at hello@thesafecentre.co.uk and we will do our best to assist you with your issue or return.

There may be certain items that we are unable to refund. These may include but are not limited to the following:

• Non-product Items and services, such as any Professional Installation you have discussed with us.
• Products that have been installed in your property, or items that are damaged after delivery.
• Any products with bespoke alterations or modifications that are not available for direct purchase through The Safe Centre's website.
• Any upgraded delivery services you have organised through us.
